Department of Hindi was established in 1998 by Mr. Prabin Koch. After him Dr. Anuradha Shahu and Preeti Saikia was working for the department. And from 2009 it is handling by Mrs. Lonima Neog. We offer only MIL course for Higher Secondary and B.A. We have around 20/25 students per year. We are trying to do better for the department.
The department tries to spread hindi in non hindi speaking areas as it is our national language.
