• Ragging is strictly banned inside the college premises. Any student found involved in ny form of ragging will be expelled from the college.

The College Anti-ragging Committee takes action as and when required.

  • It is the duty of the students to keep the campus and classrooms clean. Any damage to and disfiguring of the college property will be liable for punishment.
  • Students are expected to maintain decency. They must not loiter outside the campus during the class hours but to spend their off periods in the student’s common room or in the library reading room.
  • 80% attendance is compulsory. Classes are held from 9-00 am to 3-45 pm Students attending lectures less than 80% but above 70% are sent up for the examinations as institutional private candidates (non-collegiate). Students attending less than 70% of the lectures delivered will be discollegiated. Regular career counselling is provided to H.S. Final Year and Degree 3rd year students. Non-collegiate fine, wherever applicable, have to be paid separately for each subject fixed by college authority.
  • Uniforms for Students: It is compulsory for the students to come with the college uniform in the college hours. College uniforms are as follows--- Mekhela Chadar - white with purple boarder (pari) or Kurta – purple with salwar and chunny. Short salwar and churiders are strictly prohibited.
  • Students must keep the identity cards with them within and outside the college campus at all times.
  • Compulsory internal assesment will be held in every paper for marks exceeding 60 for each paper.
  • It is compulsory to appear in the examinations conducted by the college. Bi-Monthly unit test is conducted to observe the progress of the students.
  • Boarders of the Hostel will be required to strictly abide by all the rules of the Hostel. Violators are penalised.
  • Students have to perticipate in extension activities and social services organised by the college from time to time.
  • Use of mobile phones by students in the college campus is strictly prohibited. Violation will be dealt with strictness including payment of Rs. 500/- on each occasion. Frequesnt violators are subject to other disciplinary action.
